Northwest Whitfield’s freshman boys basketball team beat Dalton 53-48 on Saturday and topped Southeast Whitfield 57-20 on Monday.
Against Dalton, Seth Hutch-inson paced the Bruins with 15 points, while Elijah Blackwell chipped in eight. The Catam-ounts’ Wyatt Erwin led all scorers with 23 points.
Against Southeast, Blackwell again scored 15 points and Jacob Asbury added eight for Northwest (7-2).
