Mr. and Mrs. Robert Meredith Chandler of Dalton announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Elizabeth Nunn Chandler to Joe Anthony Lopez, both of Boynton Beach, Florida. He is the son of Domingo and Carmen Carrion of Port St. Lucie, Florida.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Isaac V. Chandler of Dalton, and late Matthew O. Troy and Jane W. Troy of Lookout Mountain, Tennessee. She is the sister of Robert Matthew Chandler of Jackson, Mississippi.
Miss Chandler graduated from Dalton High School. She obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in International Business from the University of Georgia. She is employed with Shaw Industries as a commercial marketing manager.
The future groom is the brother of Reinaldo Lopez of Jacksonville, Florida and the grandson of Jose Rivera Ortiz of Port St. Lucie, Florida and the late Mrs. Ortiz. He is also the father of Sophia Jo Lopez.
A graduate of Lorain Southview High School in Lorain, Ohio, the groom received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio. He is employed as a commercial contract specialist for Shaw Industries.
The wedding will be October 1st at Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida.
