Mr. and Mrs. Danny Williams of Rome announce the engagement of their daughter Melissa Dawn Williams to Ronald Jacob Free, son of Rev. Gregg and Victoria Free, also of Rome.
Melissa is employed as a Human Resources Specialist at Temple-Inland in Rome. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Alvin and Lynda Williams of Eton, Lonnie and Joyce Clark of Rome, and the late Joseph and Mary Hassfurther of Mariah Hill, Indiana.
Mr. Free is employed by Georgia Power as a member of the Rome Line Crew. He is the grandson of Ron and Brenda Free of Calhoun, Ronald and Irana Fetzer of Cohutta, and the late Shirley Fetzer of Cohutta.
The private wedding is planned for Sat. Sept. 10, 2011 at Belle Terra in Rome, Ga. Invitations will be sent.
