DECATUR —
A 39-year-old man is the latest Georgian to suffer from West Nile virus.
DeKalb County Board of Health officials won’t release his name. They say he’s in the hospital suffering some paralysis.
So far there have been five cases of human West Nile virus in Georgia in 2010.
They include a case Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness has confirmed in a 67-year-old woman living in Atlanta.
Authorities are encouraging the use of insect repellant and getting rid of standing water on your property.
