Governor’s Mansion to host Easter egg hunt

ATLANTA — Families looking for a place to hunt Easter eggs can set their sights on the Georgia Governor’s Mansion.

Sandra Deal, Gov. Nathan Deal’s wife, will host the state’s 11th annual Easter egg hunt at the north Atlanta mansion on March 23. The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon.

Anyone wishing to attend is asked to RSVP by email to kashworth(at)georgia.gov

The governor’s office says that only email reservations will be accepted, and they must include the names and number of children wanting to hunt eggs, the names and number of adults who would come with the children, and a contact telephone number.

Families are asked to bring a stuffed animal or book for charity.

Space is limited, and spots will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
