JONESBORO, Ga. (AP) — A Clayton County woman’s home — and her Christmas presents — were destroyed Christmas Day when a fire broke out while she was across the street at her son’s house.
WAGA reports that no one was injured in the fire Friday at Sallie Williams’ home. Authorities are investigating the cause of the blaze.
Just as the family’s holiday celebration was getting under way, Williams’ son looked out the window and noticed the fire across the street.
