MADISON, Ga. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the death of man who apparently accidentally shot himself while showing off his gun on Christmas morning.
Neighbors told WSB-TV that the man dropped the loaded gun while showing it to his adult children Friday at a home in Morgan County. Police confirmed the man died of a gunshot wound.
Authorities declined to release the man’s name.
