ALPHARETTA —
Police in Alpharetta say they’re seeking a suspect in a killing in the Atlanta suburb.
Alpharetta police spokesman George Gordon tells The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (http://bit.ly/XKzUvX) that investigators believe 22-year-old Shane Demetrice Woods was headed out of the state. Gordon said he’s considered armed and dangerous.
Police say they’ve charged Woods with murder in connection with the fatal shooting of an unidentified man at a townhouse in the Whitestone Ridge community off Old Milton Parkway on Monday. It wasn’t known early Thursday whether Woods has an attorney.
Alpharetta is about 25 miles north of Atlanta.
