ATLANTA —
Georgia might be home to the nation’s newest mega-millionaire.
Authorities say a winning ticket was sold in Georgia for the $71 million Mega Millions jackpot. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports (http://bit.ly/yBw7vT) that a single winning ticket was sold in Atlanta.
The winning numbers drawn Tuesday night were 10, 22, 24, 36 and 49 with a mega ball of 33.
The Mega Millions jackpot now resets to $12 million. The jackpot for Powerball, the other multi-state lottery played in Georgia, is $120 million.
