DECATUR —
The co-owner of a DeKalb County strip club was shot to death, and police say robbery appears to be the motive.
DeKalb County police spokeswoman Mekka Parish says 49-year-old Terry Stephenson was shot repeatedly outside the entrance of Pin Up’s, located just east of Decatur.
A friend of the victim, Doug Cocchi, said Stephenson was en route to the bank to deposit the club’s holiday weekend receipts on Tuesday when he was shot.
Police say they’re reviewing pictures from a neighboring grocery store’s surveillance camera.
