ATLANTA — A federal appeals panel has upheld the conviction of a Miami man who was sentenced to 40 years in prison on sex tourism and child pornography charges.
The 11th Circuit Court of Appeals ruling Monday found that the trial court did not err when Kent Frank was convicted and sentenced on charges that he paid underage girls in Cambodia for sex and to pose for pornographic pictures.
Frank was found guilty in 2007 on eight counts of child exploitation offenses. He was also convicted of four counts of traveling in foreign commerce and engaging in illicit sexual conduct with a minor.
