The Georgia Rampage have signed former Eastern Kentucky University defensive back Aldrickious Shumake to increase their preseason roster to 20 players.
The Ultimate Indoor Football League’s 2013 season kicks off in March, and the Rampage will play their home games at the trade center after spending this past season playing only road games while based in Rome. The team, which is co-owned by Kacee Smith and Amer Awad, moved to Dalton in the offseason and has been putting together its roster over the past few months.
The roster size for training camp, which begins in February, is limited to 40 players. Only 23 can be signed for the season, with 18 kept on the active roster for game day.
