Six Christian Heritage football players were among those who made the lineup for the 2012 All-Region 6-A team.
Junior wide receivers Nich Bartley and Will Fischer were both first-team selections.
Bartley, who was also chosen for The Daily Citizen’s All-Area Football Team, finished this past season with 587 receiving yards on 37 catches, including nine touchdowns. Fischer had 33 catches — five of them were touchdowns — for 504 yards.
Christian Heritage’s second-team selections were junior Harrison Kranzlein at offensive lineman, junior Austin Lowe at linebacker, senior Michael McKinney at tight end and sophomore Evan Townsend at linebacker.
Kranzlein, Lowe and Townsend were also all-area selections — although Lowe was chosen at fullback rather than linebacker for that team — while McKinney earned honorable mention.
