Dalton girls basketball coach Jeff McKinney, who was rushed to the hospital on Saturday with an irregular heartbeat, is OK and was resting at home on Sunday, Dalton boys coach Mike Duffie said.
McKinney left the Lady Catamounts’ game against Sequoyah in the second quarter with an irregular heartbeat. Duffie said McKinney will undergo further testing, but expects McKinney to be at the Lady Cats’ practice today.
Duffie filled in for McKinney against Sequoyah and Dalton won, 46-35.
