Here are the notes and news from the week in pro wrestling:
• The Rock as the “Raw” anonymous general manager? No way, according to former WWE announcer Jim Ross. He recently answered questions from his readers on his website, www.jrsbarbq.com.
“I always assumed Rock would come back for a ‘one off’ only and then to promote one of his many projects,” Ross wrote. “Rock being named the full time GM would shock me. It won’t happen.
“He’s still a fan but he works constantly.”
• John Cena — via his Twitter account — was very critical of NXT rookie Percy Watson’s performance last Monday on “Raw.”
“If percy watson makes another .. One of those faces where I’m supposed to think he’s mad but it looks like he just crapped himself ... ill eliminate him. He has gone downhill .. Every single week. disappointing. He is really one hell of an athlete. I think he may be suffering from yep yep syndrome.”
