The little kid in me that used to always play two-hand touch football games at Chris Blocker’s house — not because we liked Chris but because he had the biggest, most open yard in the neighborhood — gets a real kick out of watching what has become known as seven-on-seven games.

Madison Ellis was ready for Dalton State College athletics even before the Roadrunners were ready for her.
That should leave little doubt about what kind of spirit the Dalton High School senior will bring to the college’s cheerleading program when it launches into action later this year.
