The Dalton Dolphins took sole possession of first place in the Chattanooga Area Swim League’s Blue Division after beating visiting Ringgold 240-121 on Monday.
The meet was called early because of inclement weather. Leading scorers for the Dolphins were Lindsey Mulk-ey and Romino Mendoza (12 points); Rebecca Davis and Wil Cushman (10); Tyler Stephenson (9); Henry Bethel (8); Andrea Arriola, Ross Valdez, Austin Fischer, Reese Bingham, Ramon Valdez, Hollie Porter, Oscar Chenard, Raul Valdez, Ethan Pence and Mona Pike (7); and Bruno Valdez, Abigail Crawford, Trey Davis and Anthony Calderon (5).
Scoring for Ringgold (0-7) were Grace Ann Hawthorne, Regan Wingrove and Mitch Chow (7) and Teri Rhinehart (6).
Entering Monday’s action, the Dolphins (5-2) were part of a three-way tie for the division lead with Tennessee’s Signal Mountain and Chatt-anooga’s Stuart Heights. Those teams were scheduled to face off Monday, but had their meet postponed because of weather.
