North Murray’s Mountaineers finished their first junior varsity football season with a 40-33 victory over River Ridge on Friday at Woodstock.
John Olinger, Brady Swilling and Jacob Mays each scored two touchdowns for North Murray (5-4-1). One of Mays’ scores was a kick return.
“River Ridge is all freshmen so we started and played our young guys most of the game,” North Murray coach Larry Cornelius said. “Our sophomores played about five minutes.”
