Area tournaments preview: Pressure rises as season nears end
(Misty Watson/The Daily Citizen) Southeast Whitfield senior Jeremy White, bottom, posts up to roll Armuchee’s Phillip Broome during their 120-pound match Tuesday at Southeast. White is one of only two Raiders to qualify for sectionals and state a year ago, but Southeast will try to improve that number as it heads to the Area 7-3A tournament today at Allatoona High.
Wrestling may not be easy, but for much of the Georgia high school season, the sport’s schedule is forgiving.
