Dalton Inline Hockey: Silver Bullets, Fire Blazers win

The Dalton Inline Hockey League continued its 2012-13 season with a fifth week of play Tuesday at The Zone Skate Center.

In high school/college division competition, Jonathan Cochran had four goals and an assist to lead the Silver Bullets to a 6-4 victory against the Trail Blazers.

Hannah Gonthier added a goal and an assist, Taylor Harper chipped in a goal and Jonathan Davis finished with 20 saves.

For the Trail Blazers, Jason Cochran and Stephanie Koop each had a pair of goals — the former also had an assist — while Michael Koop had two assists and Alexis Tallent made five saves.

In elementary/middle school division competition, Luke Cochran supplied all the goals in the Fire Blazers’ 6-1 victory against the Speeding Bullets, while Jamesen Shook had two assists and Makaylah Cochran added one assist.

Erica Tallent scored the lone goal for the Speeding Bullets.
