Noll wins title again

For the eighth time in the last 10 years, David Noll Jr. has won the Men’s Club Championship at Dalton Golf and Country Club.

Noll shot a 7-under-par 65 to win the two-day tournament by four strokes over Matt Oxford in the Championship Flight. Combined with his 3-under from Saturday’s first round, Noll finished the tournament at 10-under. Noll started the day two strokes behind Oxford, who led after shooting an opening-round 67.

Brandon Kimmerling and Brian Owens finished tied for third with even-par totals of 144.

This is the second-straight title for Noll, who also won the championship from 2003 to 2008.

Other flight winners were Kyle Pettyjohn (142, Championship A), Duane McMullen (149, Championship B), David Mansfield (153, First Flight), Denny Little (156, Second Flight), Larry Sims (156, Third Flight) and Steve Speights (164, Fourth Flight).
