All of the area’s varsity softball games scheduled for today have been postponed because of inclement weather and/or wet field conditions.
Dalton’s game at Southeast Whitfield and Murray County’s game at Model will both be made up at 5 p.m. Monday. Northwest Whitfield will make up its game against visiting LaFayette at 5 p.m. Wednesday. No makeup date has been set for Christian Heritage’s game at Darlington.

Bruins rise as Marist dominates in Class 4A boys tournament
Silas Ledford was one of three Northwest Whitfield golfers to finish Monday’s Class 4A state tournament at Dalton Golf & Country Club with a round of 78. Northwest finished sixth overall.
