Here are the notes and news items from the week in pro wrestling: Wade Barrett is back in the WWE ring after overcoming an injury. He wrestled in a dark match at “Smackdown” this week.

• Shelton Benjamin’s “suspension” from Ring of Honor isn’t really a suspension.
The Local Corner: Action continues at TWA.
TWA Friday Night Brawl runs at 8 p.m. at the TWA Arena off Reed Road in north Whitfield County, about three miles north of the bypass. The TWA Action Zone runs at 8 p.m. on Saturdays. Tickets for all shows are $5 for adults and $3 for ages 6 to 12; senior citizens 60 years and older with proof of age will be admitted for $3. Kids younger than 6 are admitted free. Any military member with proper identification will be admitted free. If it’s your birthday, you will be admitted free.
Action continues at Georgia National Wrestling/Dixie Championship Wrestling. The GNA/DCW road tour’s final summer stop is at 7 p.m. on Aug. 30 at Rush Fitness in Dalton for “Rushamania 2.”
GNW/DCW is at 313 E. Morris St. in Dalton. Bell time is at 8 p.m. Saturday. For more information, call (762) 209-9699.
Omega Wrestling Federation will present a show on Aug. 24 featuring wrestlers from TWA and RCW. The show is at 580 N. 2nd Ave., behind the Auto Zone. Ticket are $5 for adults and $3 for ages 6 to 12. Kids younger than 6 will be admitted free.
