Jamie Jones: Who's headed for the Hall?

Here are the notes and news items from the week in the world of pro wrestling: With the surprising news that WWE legend Bruno Sammartino has accepted the organization’s invitation to join its Hall of Fame, D-Generation X might not be inducted until next year.

WWE likes to have at least one headliner each year.

• Snitsky, the former WWE wrestler, is starring in a horror movie titled “Manhunt.”

• Wrestlemania 30 will reportedly take place at the Superdome in New Orleans.

The Undertaker’s entrance should go off without a snag.

The Local Corner: Action continues at TWA.

TWA Friday Night Brawl runs at 8 p.m. at the TWA Arena off Reed Road in north Whitfield County, about three miles north of the bypass. The TWA Action Zone runs at 8 p.m. on Saturdays. Tickets for all shows are $5 for adults and $3 for ages 6 to 12; senior citizens 60 years and older with proof of age will be admitted for $3. Kids younger than 6 are admitted free. Any military member with proper identification will be admitted free. If it’s your birthday, you will be admitted free.
