In matches last Saturday night: With the help of The True Italians, Michael Cross defeated Alex Summers; Joey Idol and Tiffany went to a no contest with Da Bill and Paul Dryver; the debuting BCX (Shawn Bell and Jason Cole) defeated The True Italians to advance in the tag title tournament; HCP 2.0 topped The Mixed Ones to also advance in the tag title tournament; Toy Dodson outlasted Josh Vaughn in a non-title match to become the new No. 1 contender for the Southern title; Ray Fury won a handicap match against The Greenhouse to pick a stipulation for his title match against Da Bill on Jan. 21.
TWA Friday Night Brawl runs at 8 p.m. at the TWA Arena off Reed Road in north Whitfield County, about three miles north of the bypass. The TWA Action Zone runs at 8 p.m. on Saturdays. Tickets for all shows are $5 for adults and $3 for ages 6 to 12; senior citizens 60 years and older with proof of age will be admitted for $3. Kids younger than 6 are admitted free. Any military member with proper identification will be admitted free. If it’s your birthday, you will be admitted free.
