• The Covenants of Chatsworth will be in concert Dec. 6 at 11 a.m. at Little Prospect Baptist Church.

The church is on Ga. Highway 2 east of Prater’s Mill in Varnell. Pastor Johnny Payne welcomes everyone.



• Born Again will sing Sunday during the 11 a.m. service at Gospel Tabernacle.

The church is on Lucille Drive in Dalton. Pastor George Witt welcomes everyone.



• Cedar Valley Cathedral of Praise will continue its revival — now in its fifth week — Sunday through Wednesday with Evangelist Joel Talley as guest speaker. Sunday services begin at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. with remaining services beginning at 7:30 p.m.

The church is on Cleveland Highway in Dalton. The public is invited.



• Gobbler’s Knob Church of God will present the Christmas play “Three Angels” Dec. 12 at 7 p.m. and Dec. 13 at 6 p.m.

The church is on Barnard Road in Cohutta. The public is invited.



• Eastbrook Baptist Church will present “A Day With Bill Saye” Sunday at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m. He will share his testimony during the evening service.

The church is on Hill Road in Dalton.



• Hopewell Baptist Church in Cohutta will have a free clothes giveaway Dec. 5 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Available sizes include adults, children’s, babies and toddler.

The church is off Hopewell Loop Road.



• Grace Baptist Church will have a special singing Sunday at 6 p.m. featuring The Chapeltones.

• Tunnel Hill United Methodist Church has announced the following upcoming events:

Christmas breakfast — The United Methodist Men will provide breakfast Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m. to all ladies of the church.

Cantata — The choir will present “The First Light” Dec. 20 at 11 a.m.

Children’s Christmas program — Dec. 20 at 7 p.m. in church sanctuary

Christmas party — Dec. 20 at 7:45 p.m. in church fellowship hall

• Fellowship Bible Church is hosting its final coffeehouse of the year on Friday, Dec. 4 at 7 p.m. for a Friday night of Christmas music.

Fellowship Bible Church is at 2044 Dug Gap Road in Dalton.



• A one-day revival is set for today at 6 p.m. at Movimiento Cristiano Comunion at 419 Eleventh Ave., Dalton.

David Ring is the guest speaker. Space is limited so early arrival is suggested. Doors open at 4 p.m.

• A “State of Men” summit will be held Dec. 5 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Room 205 of the Brown Center at Dalton State College.

New Hope Baptist Church’s men’s ministry will host the event. Topics range from family structure, personal finance and substance intervention.

Facilitators include Harold Middlebrook of Knoxville, Willie Paul of Chattnooga, Stephen Thomas, Arthanial Womble and Judge Jack Partain of Dalton.

• Midway Baptist Church will present its Christmas drama, “Must Jesus Bear the Cross Alone,” Dec. 13 at 6 p.m.

The church is located on Stevenson Drive in Dalton. Everyone is welcome.



• The Fifth Sunday Union will celebrate its 65th anniversary Sunday at 3 p.m. at Shiloh Baptist Church in Dalton. The Rev. Jerry Burse, pastor of Liberty Baptist Church in Dalton, will be the guest speaker. A reception will follow at Dot’s Place adjacent to Willis Funeral Home in Dalton.

Practice for the Fifth Sunday Community Choir will be held today at 2 p.m. at Liberty Baptist.

Shiloh Baptist Church is located on M.L. King Jr. Boulevard in Dalton.
