ROME — Dr. John Davis and Dr. Kris Carlisle, both members of the Berry College music faculty, will be performing together at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, in Ford Auditorium. Admission is free and open to the public. Call 706-236-2289 for more information.
Dr. Davis, flute, and Dr. Carlisle, piano, will be showcasing works that span more than two centuries of chamber music for the flute and the piano. These include Bach’s Sonata No. 1 in B minor, Schubert’s Introduction and Variations on a Theme: “Ihr Blümlein Alle,” Op. 160, Charles T. Griffes’ Poem and Martinu’s First Sonata for Flute and Piano.
