ROME — The Berry College Oak Hill Symphony Orchestra will present its holiday concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24, in Ford Auditorium. The performance will feature a night of tangos waltzes, and popular music. Admission is free and open to the public. Email mciric@berry.edu for more details.
The Oak Hill Symphony Orchestra is comprised of musicians from the college and the community. Norman Bernal and Mirna Ogrizovic-Ciric are the conductors.

Ash Wednesday, according to the Harper/Collins Bible Dictionary is “the first day of Lent and seventh Wednesday before Easter. It derives its name from the early ecclesiastical (church) custom of putting ashes on the heads of believers on that day as a sign of penitence.”
