ROME — Tryouts for Berry College’s 2010 MLK Talent Show will be held Tuesday, Nov. 17, and Thursday, Nov. 19, from 5 to 7 p.m. in Krannert Underground, located on the bottom floor of the student center. The MLK Talent Show will be held Saturday, Jan. 18, in celebration of the Martin Luther King Jr. holiday.

Ash Wednesday, according to the Harper/Collins Bible Dictionary is “the first day of Lent and seventh Wednesday before Easter. It derives its name from the early ecclesiastical (church) custom of putting ashes on the heads of believers on that day as a sign of penitence.”
