Champs crowned

Ravens, Bulldogs, Falcons win

The Dalton Parks and Recreation Department completed its youth football programs for 2011 with regular-season games, as well as bowl and championship games played at Harmon Field this past Saturday. Results and highlights included:



9-10 league

• Saints 19, Cardinals 14: (Saints) — Emanual Washington, three touchdown runs (70, 15 and 30 yards). (Cardinals) — Drew Greeson, 15-yard touchdown run; Jyuan Jenkins, 40-yard touchdown run and two extra points.

• Bears 6, Cowboys 0: (Bears) — Won by forfeit.

• Saints 12, Cardinals 0: (Saints) — Emanual Washington, two touchdown runs (10 and 20 yards).

• Falcons 35, Titans 6: (Falcons) — Rhett Hammontree, 9-yard touchdown run and three extra points; Victor Mendez, 30-yard touchdown run; John Ross, 5-yard touchdown run; Drew Clements, two touchdown runs (11 and 10 yards) and extra point. (Titans) — Corbin Fowler, 35-yard touchdown run.

• Dalton Falcons 14, Dalton Bears 0: (Falcons) — Rhett Hammontree, two touchdown runs (8 and 1 yards).

• Dalton Titans 19, Dalton Saints 6: (Titans) — Malachi Gregory, two touchdown runs (15 and 20 yards); Corbin Fowler, 40-yard touchdown run and extra point. (Saints) — Emanual Washington, 65-yard touchdown run.

• Youth bowl — Dalton Cardinals 6, Dalton Cowboys 0: (Cardinals) — Shep Richardson, 2-yard touchdown run.

• Youth bowl — Dalton Bears 19, Dalton Saints 0: (Bears) — D.J. Hutchinson, 15-yard touchdown run; Evan Lester, 5-yard touchdown run, David Ramirez, 5-yard touchdown run; and Rhett Tripp, extra point.

• Championship game — Dalton Falcons 23, Dalton Titans 6: (Falcons) — Rhett Hammontree, three touchdown runs (10, 5 and 27 yards) and extra point; Drew Clements, two two-point conversions; (Titans) — Corbin Fowler, 36-yard touchdown run.



7-8 league

• Dalton Bulldogs 20, Dalton Razorbacks 6: (Bulldogs) — Journey Boston, 2-yard touchdown run; Michael McDade, two touchdown runs (30 and 10 yards); Ashton Blackwell, two extra points. (Razorbacks) — Malachi Hill, 65-yard touchdown run.

• Dalton Falcons 25, Dalton Steelers 6: (Falcons) — Brady Pendley, 5-yard touchdown run and extra point; Henry Bethel, 50-yard touchdown run; Parker Icolts, two touchdown runs (10 and 40 yards). (Steelers) — Joseph Fernendez, 20-yard touchdown run.
