‘Heart of stone’ mystery revealed
A family’s legacy can be found on the old tower on Fort Mountain where one of the stones in the shape of a heart was placed there by the late Arnold Bailey in honor of his future wife, Margaret Reece, in the 1930s when he was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps.
