Lady Lions soccer place pair on All-State team

Six Christian Heritage girls soccer players made the Georgia Independent School Association Region 4-2A team while two received All-State honors.

Forwards Jordan Suddath and Marah McEntyre, midfielder Rachel Gray, defenders Mollie Crawford and Carmen Tejada and goalkeeper Sarah Massengale made the All-Region team. Gray and Crawford reached the All-State team with Suddath falling one vote short.

Suddath — making her second All-Region team with nine goals and two assists — and Massengale — making her first with 91 saves — are both freshmen. Crawford, a sophomore, helped the defense hold a 0.833 goals against average per game. One of the three seniors, Gray led the team with 10 goals and made her fifth All-Region team and second All-State honor. McEntyre — making her second All-Region — and Tejada — making her first — are the other two senior Lady Lions.
