Area arrests

• Russell Eric Blanton, 21, 2099 Richard Bend Road, Crandall, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• Brittany Leann Conner, 20, 1889 Riverbend Road, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with sale of or intent to sell marijuana, attempt to obtain drugs by fraud or forgery and possession of hydrocodone.

• Brittney Nicole Deal, 20, 5 Brothers Lane, No. 513, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with financial transaction card theft, financial transaction card fraud and financial identity fraud.

• Michael Shane Hamilton, 35, 121-B Frontier Trail, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with manufacture of marijuana and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Jason Rashad Harris, 33, 814 Brentwood Drive, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• Brian Anthony Hayes, 45, 2007 Ridge Road, Dalton, was in the Whitfield County jail on Tuesday with one year to serve in prison.

• Andrew James McLemore, 21, 1802 Underwood St., No. 2, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with felony probation violation and burglary.

• Donald Ray Ramsey, 38, 1305 Underwood St., Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with felony theft by receiving stolen property.

• Michael Damian Conner, 25, 2828 Gregory Place, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of or intent to sell marijuana and possession of hydrocodone.

• Irvin Terrance Cooper, 50, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with burglary, willful obstruction of law officers, loitering or prowling and pedestrian under the influence.

• Steven Michael Peacock, 46, 45-1/2 Conrath St., Salamanca, N.Y., was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation (violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act).

• Garald David Sexton, 42, 132 Bright Road, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of methamphetamine and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Rolando Vicente-Vicente, 23, 3510 12th Ave., Chattanooga, was charged Wednesday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI, failure to maintain lane, driving without a valid license and slower vehicle violation.
