Area arrests

• Amber Rena Goff, 21, 3242 Satcher Road, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of methamphetamine and possession of tools for the commission of a crime (violation of the Georgia Controlled Substances Act).

• Jason Kyle Green, 27, 103 Sunray Drive, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with aggravated assault, simple assault (family violence), burglary (forced entry, residence), drugs not in original container, possession of cocaine, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, felony probation violation, failure to register as a sex offender and comply with requirements, willful obstruction of law officers, failure to maintain lane, failure to stop at a stop sign, attempting to elude a police officer, reckless driving, aggressive driving, speeding, improper lane change or usage, driving too fast for conditions, hit and run, failure to report an accident and an open container violation.

• Jason Drew Keith, 27, 2302 Second St., Dalton, was charged Monday by state parole with possession of a schedule 4 drug, sale/distribution/possession of dangerous drugs, possession of methamphetamine, parole violation, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of tools for the commission of a crime (burglary).

• Kerri Diane Nichols, 27, 189 Crestview, Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with felony theft by receiving stolen vehicle.

• Jeffery Lee Osborne, 34, 4737 N. Old Federal Road, Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with felony theft by taking.

• Richard Andrew Kisor, 23, 1488 Temple Grove Road, Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with manufacture or sale of methadone.
