Area arrests

— • Cathy Lynn Bentley, 38, 29 Norton Bridge Road, Chatsworth, was charged Friday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with driving while license suspended or revoked, no insurance and DUI-drugs/alcohol.

• Jason Lee Green, 35, 80 Lake Side Park Court, Ellijay, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with terroristic threats and acts, stalking and harassing phone calls.

• Heather Elizabeth Hawkins, 40, 1519 Antioch Road, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with first degree forgery, financial transaction card fraud, financial transaction card theft, criminal receipt of goods/service obtained by fraud and identity theft (two counts).

• Avrelio Velazquez-Vasquez, 22, 718 La Due, Cedartown, was placed on hold Friday at the Whitfield County jail by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

• Sergio Cortez-Lopez, 25, 116 Andasol Way, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI and failure to maintain lane.

• David Eugene Hurley, 50, 1604 Underwood St.-2, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with second degree criminal damage to property.

• Tyler Lee Kimbro, 17, 234 Cohutta Beaverdale Road, Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with burglary, criminal trespass, possession of a pistol by a person under 18, possession of a firearm during commission of a felony, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and driving without a valid license.

• Jorge Morales-Flores, 23, 1304 Underwood St., Dalton, was charged Saturday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI and driving while license suspended or revoked.
