Area arrests

Dalton Daily Citizen

• Mitchell Eugene Bivens, 42, 111 Little John Lane, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of a schedule 2 drug, possession of a schedule 4 drug, possession of a schedule 1 drug, possession of methamphetamine and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Tracy Renee Maddox, 40, 531 Bear Creek Road, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with first degree forgery (three counts) and deposit account fraud (two counts).

• Christopher Thomas Plott, 38, 37850 Crystal Way, Dade City, Fla., was charged Thursday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with third degree cruelty to children, battery (family violence), second degree criminal damage to property, interference with a 911 call and terroristic threats and acts.

• Peter Andrew Cudd, 27, 564 Eber Road, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, driving while license suspended or revoked, improper turn, failure to maintain lane and no insurance.

• L.A. Chance Bailey, 20, 1075 Spring Hill Road, Adairsville, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with terroristic threats and acts and criminal trespass.

• Gary Wayne Hooker, 37, 971 Mount Vernon Road, Tunnel Hill, was charged Friday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with DUI-drugs, DUI-endangering child while under the influence of drugs and view obstructed (windshield/wiper violation).
