Area arrests

Dalton Daily Citizen

• Johnny Carol Hicks, 56, 525 Tilton Road, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of methamphetamine and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Joshua Dewayne Johnson, 26, 470 Arabian Drive, Tunnel Hill, was charged Wednesday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with possession and use of drug-related objects, probation violation (two counts), failure to appear, driving while license suspended or revoked, operating motor vehicle while registration suspended or revoked and no insurance.

• Jack Johnson, 23, 32 Ave. N., Highway 108, Gruetli-Laager, Tenn., was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with being a fugitive from justice (Grundy County, Tenn., Sheriff’s Office).
