Area arrests

— • Timothy Max Brown, 53, 5396 Blair Road, Cohutta, was charged Saturday by the Varnell Police Department with DUI and failure to maintain lane.

• Mark Lashane Meriweather, 42, 9314 Pine Lake Drive, Louisville, Ky. was charged Saturday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, failure to maintain lane and two counts of possession of a schedule III drug.

• Reginald Keith Bombita, 30, 401 Rowena St., Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI and failure to obey a traffic control device.

• Terry Joe Griggs, 48, 617 Peachtree St., Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of methamphetamine and a noise violation.

• Kevin Lamar Walraven, 31, 151 Rymers Road, Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Eton Police Department with possession of methamphetamine and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.
