Area arrests

• Brian Keith Smith, 36, 1311 Old Dalton Ellijay Road, Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with parole violation.

• Jessica Nicole Glover, 24, 112 Jonathan Drive, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with DUI and reckless driving.

• Alexx Neil Goodman, 21, 463 Valley Drive, Resaca, was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of firearms by a convicted felon and first offender probation violation.

• Glenn Junior Harkless, 36, 105 Croy Drive, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with probation violation, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine and driving while license suspended or revoked.

• Christopher Paul Hastings, 24, 812 W. Crawford St., No. 4, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Parole Office with parole violation.

• Eric Jason Hixson, 32, 3650 Miller Drive, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• Maxine Holliness, 26, 824 Elmrow St., Fort Wayne, Ind., was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony failure to appear.

• Rosalio Miguel Jacobo, 19, 404 W. Matilda St., Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• Dalmah Glenn Lute III, 19, 1412 Elite Drive, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with burglary.

• Michael Ryan Massingill, 19, 4007 Mary Elizabeth Drive, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with burglary.

• Cynthia Darleen Shields, 44, 1449 Liberty Drive, No. 37, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with being a fugitive from justice (probation violation on a theft charge out of McMinn County, Tenn.).

• Jennifer Leigh Smithers, 26, 412 Treadwell St., No. 110, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• Tommy William Dodson, 47, 404 W. Field Road, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• Raymond Allison Elrod, 30, 850 Carbondale Road, No. 6, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation, trafficking in meth and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Randy Scotty Famber, 26, 816 McAfee St., Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of cocaine and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Jason Randel Mayer, 30, 4038 W. Parliament Drive, Cohutta, was charged Thursday with possession of meth and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Victor Armando Menendez, 26, 2089 Victory Parkway, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, willful obstruction of law officers, failure to maintain lane and headlights violation.

• Christy Laraine Moore, 38, 7065 Highway 225 S., Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth.

• Abel Rodriguez, 19, 259 Hollywood Drive, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with possession with intent to distribute meth, possession of tools for the commission of a crime and criminal street gang activity.

• Candace Michelle Sotelo, 20, 308 Sparks Lane, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with possession with intent to distribute meth, failure to appear, probation violation, possession of tools for the commission of a crime and criminal street gang activity.

• Melanie Lynn Thain, 37, 146 N. Strathmore Drive, Sharper, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of barbituates, DUI and open container violation.
