Area arrests

• Nathan Billups, 47, 569 Lovejoy St. N.W., Atlanta, was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with first degree forgery and giving false information.

• Derick Dakota Bratcher, 20, 31 North Pass, Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• Javier Hernandez, 33, 205 Edgewood Ave., Dalton, was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with first degree forgery and financial identity fraud.

• Joshua Shannon Clark, 19, 4357 Cohutta Varnell Road, Cohutta, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with burglary.

• William Keith Jarrell, 43, 106 Pine Wood Way, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, following too closely, open container violation and driving while license suspended or revoked.

• Brian Eugene Sherrill, 40, 843 Wilson Loop, Cohutta, was charged Tuesday by the Varnell Police Department with DUI and driving while license suspended or revoked.
