Area arrests

• Bradley Eugene Baggett, 40, 5684 Old Federal Road S., Chatsworth, was charged Thursday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with DUI-drugs less safe, speeding, tire violation and windshields/wipers violation.

• Lesia Smith Barlow, 47, 3979 Ashley Brook Drive, Resaca, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

• Camron Lee Carroll, 18, 4836 Miller Drive, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with obstruction of an officer, sale of marijuana and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Ivan Castro, 21, 115 Shadow Drive, Atlanta, was placed on an immigration hold Thursday in Whitfield County by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

• Allen Jackson Hicks, 57, 1935 Bowers Road, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of a schedule 2 drug, possession of methamphetamine and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Jeremy Joe Hix, 30, 3019 Cleveland Highway, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI-drugs less safe.

• David Joseph Lawson, 39, 591 Henry Gallman Road, Resaca, was charged Thursday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation (failure to register as a sex offender).

• Dustin Otis Powell, 26, 711 S. Hamilton St., Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony parole violation.

• Juaqin Ramirez, 34, 103 Payne Road, Rome, was placed on an immigration hold Thursday in Whitfield County by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

• Calvin Deondre Tolliver, 20, 911 Vernon Ave., Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with sale of or intent to sell marijuana and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Jorge Vicente, 35, 418 Elliot Drive, Rome, was placed on an immigration hold Thursday in Whitfield County by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

• Bruce Wayne Bailey, 42, 521 Monroe Green Road, Trion, was charged Friday by  the Dalton Police Department with possession of meth and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• John Hernandez, 35, 500 N. Glenwood Ave., Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI-endangering a child and DUI.

• Quentin Zelos Rosa, 24, 717 Sheridan Ave., No. 12, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI and noise violation.

• Laura Michelle Voyles, 34, 142 Tarpley Way, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of a schedule 2 drug, possession of tools for the commission of a crime and driving while license suspended or revoked.

• Tammy Kaye Whitener, 36, 1909 Richmond Drive, Dalton, was charged Friday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, DUI-endangering a child (three counts) and failure to maintain lane.
