Area arrests

• Thomas Albert Brunelle, 18, 112 Berry Drive, Ringgold, was charged Wednesday by the Georgia State Patrol with felony theft by receiving stolen vehicle, DUI-drugs, fleeing, criminal trespass, hit and run, reckless driving, child seat belt violation, speeding and restricted licenses.

• Virginia Fraire, 28, no address given, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with felony theft by shoplifting.

• Maximino Garcia-Villatoro, 35, 18 Maggy Place, Dalton, was placed on immigration hold Wednesday in Whitfield County by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

• Mohammad Masood Hussain, 33, 1022 Laura Drive, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with commercial gambling, keeping a gambling place and possession of gambling device or equipment.

• Miranda Lynn Jones, 26, 1259 Smyrna Church Road, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with theft by taking.

• Michael Ryan Massingill, 19, 4007 Mary Elizabeth Drive, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony theft by taking and theft by deception.

• Bernardo Lopez-Medina, 36, 340 Downing St., Dalton, was placed on immigration hold Wednesday in Whitfield County by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

• Nicolas Ochoa, 38, 16 Maney Lane, Dalton, was placed on immigration hold Wednesday in Whitfield County by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

• Chad William Songer, 31, 6914 Brock Dale Road, Bledsoe, Tenn., was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• Timothy Scott Tolbert, 43, 4231 Gazaway Road, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation.

• Denis Edgardo Molina, 30, 1120 Riverbend Road, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, driving without a valid license and speeding.

• Abner Rosa Rivera, 21, 107 Viberlyn Road, Rome, was placed on immigration hold Thursday in Whitfield County by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
