Area arrests

• David Matthew Brown, 21, 676 Falcon Circle, Chatsworth, was charged Tuesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession of a drug-related object, possession of dangerous drugs, failure to keep drugs in original container and criminal trespass.

• Joshua Elijah Foster, 34, 5507 Red Clay Road, Cohutta, was charged Tuesday by the Cohutta Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and driving while license is suspended or revoked.

• Manuel Hernandez-Jimenez Jr., 41, 2595 Old 41 Highway-1, Rocky Face, was charged Tuesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with two counts of aggravated stalking.

• Roland Ray Maynard, 57, 304 Waters St., Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with burglary (forced entry, residence).

• Justin Nathaniel Wheat, 27, 2955 Davis Road, Rocky Face, was charged Tuesday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI.

• William Michael Perry, 37, 1098 Clemonte Road, Rocky Face, was charged Wednesday by the Chatsworth Police Department with dangerous driving and DUI.

• Darrell Lee Yong, 45, 3948 S. Dixie Highway-A, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with simple battery and terroristic threats and acts.
