Area arrests

• Joshua Randall Allmon, 25, 1656 Tunnel Hill Varnell Road, Tunnel Hill, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with terroristic threats and acts, battery (family violence) and cruelty to children in the third degree.

• Bobby Lee Koger, 20, 904 Holly Creek Drive, Chatsworth, was charged Saturday by the Chatsworth Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and a turn signal violation.

• William Johnny Paul II, 35, 225 Cottonwood Mill Road, Tunnel Hill, was charged Saturday by the Dalton Police Department with drugs not in original container, possession of a schedule II drug, possession of a schedule III drug, possession with the intent to distribute meth, probation violation, obstruction of law enforcement officers, possession of drug-related objects, possession of tools for the commission of a crime and driving on a suspended license.

• Melissa Dawn Bennett, 34, 203 Jordan St., Tunnel Hill, was charged Sunday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with possession with the intent to distribute meth, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of drug-related objects.

• Larry Eugene Ellis Jr., 25, 502 People Lake Road, Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Chatsworth Police Department with failure to maintain lane, DUI, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and open container of alcohol.

• Rodney Tyler Fugate, 18, 3126 Lot 54 Highway 225, Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Eton Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, underage consumption and DUI.

• Charles John Harris, 37, 4581 Mount Pleasant Road, Cohutta, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI and failure to maintain lane.

• Paul Gregory Hawkins, 39, 849 Cherokee Boys Estate Road, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with possession with the intent to distribute meth, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of drug-related objects and failure to maintain lane.

• Randall Austin Parsons, 23, 9 Brothers Lane, No. 907, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, failure to maintain lane and driving too fast for conditions.

• Douglas Shane Powell, 41, 834 Clark Road, Ringgold, was charged Sunday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with possession with the intent to distribute meth, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of drug-related objects.

• Brandon Richard Smith, 36, 3155 Old Federal Road S., Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with failure to maintain lane and DUI.

• Felicia Corina Wood, 31, 834 Clark Road, Tunnel Hill, was charged Sunday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with possession with the intent to distribute meth, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of drug-related objects.
