Area arrests

• Joshua Glenn Brown, 20, 122 Riverlake Drive, Woodstock, was charged Saturday by the Georgia State Patrol with drugs out of original container, possession of a schedule II drug, DUI and following too closely.

• Travis Joe Little, 50, 4365 Highway 1124, Summerville, was charged Saturday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with trafficking methamphetamine, possession with the intent to distribute methamphetamine, possession of a schedule III drug, possession of a schedule IV drug, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Brandon Heath Parker, 30, 123 A St., Cohutta, was charged Saturday by the Cohutta Police Department with DUI, reckless conduct, driving too fast for conditions, failure to maintain lane and driving without a license.

• Alexander Henry Mowery, 42, 466 Mountain View Drive, Benton, Tenn., was charged Sunday by the Tunnel Hill Police Department with fugitive from justice and possession of drug-related objects.

• John Daniel Patterson Jr., 36, 168 Hooker Road, Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, operation of a vehicle without a proper tag, a taillight violation and failure to maintain lane.

• David Sanchez-Romero, 18, 105 Ashcraft Drive, Rocky Face, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, possession of alcohol by a minor, failure to maintain lane and open container of alcohol.

• Coty Bryan Wakefield, 26, 376 Cotton Circle, Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI, failure to maintain lane, improper lane change and failure to use a signal.
