Area arrests

• Jeffrey Taylor McNeese, 41, 335 Maple Grove Road-B, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft by receiving stolen vehicle, probation violation and failure to appear.

• Refugio Javier Renteria, 35, 500 Wynfield Drive, Dalton, was charged Monday by the Dalton Police Department with DUI.

• Ulysses Stanford, 53, 412 Treadwell Road, Room 215, Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Chatsworth Police Department with possession of hydrocodine, possession of a dangerous drug and drugs not in original container.

• James Robert Bowman, 47, 141 Santa Fe Trail, Dalton, was charged Tuesday by the Dalton Police Department with battery (family violence), possession of cocaine and possession of tools for the commission of crime.

• Rhonda Sue Reese, 46, 3804 Highway 52 Alternate, Unit C, Chatsworth, was charged Tuesday by the Chatsworth Police Department with possession of hydrocodine, possession of a dangerous drug and drugs not in original container.
