Area arrests

• Rene Real, 19, 1416 Burgess Drive, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with sale of or intent to sell marijuana and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Rosalinda Rivera, 30, 615 Jeans St., Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with possession of methamphetamine and possession of tools for the commission of a crime.

• Debra Diane Tancrede, 40, 217 Cedar Ridge Road, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with possession with intent to distribute meth.

• Bill James Thomas, 31, 655 Anderson, No. 9, Hellind, Tenn., was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with burglary and probation violation.

• Ashley Rene Winters, 29, 500 Dawnville Road, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with possession of meth, failure to stop at stop sign and driving while license suspended or revoked.

• Taurus Centaur, 46, 198 Pysell Road, McHenry, Md., was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony theft by deception and first degree forgery.
