Area arrests

• Shane Harlan Biles, 41, 142 Pinebrook Drive, Rocky Face, was charged Sunday by the Georgia State Patrol with parole violation, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, felony escape, willful obstruction of officer by threat or violence, willful obstruction of law officers and possession of drug-related items.

• Richard Alan Bond, 55, 7477 Commons Blvd., Chattanooga, was charged Sunday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with computer or electronic pornography and child exploitation, criminal attempt to commit child molestation and child molestation.

• Everett Lynn Center, 44, 74 Maple Village Park, Ellijay, was charged Sunday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with theft by taking, first degree forgery and forgery of a financial transaction card.

• Dwight Walter Dodson, 41, 613-B Carbondale Road, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI and windshield/wiper violation.

• Fernando Alonso Salaices, 27, 600 Marble St., No. 4, Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with simple battery, false imprisonment and obstructing an emergency call.

• Cirilo Torres-Martinez, 21, 140 Richardson St., Dalton, was charged Sunday by the Dalton Police Department with terroristic threats and acts, public drunkenness and disorderly conduct.

• Grady Edmond Townsend, 26, 163 Sweetwater Road, Chatsworth, was charged Sunday by the Georgia State Patrol with driving while license suspended, DUI and failure to maintain lane.

• Nancy Lomer Goodman, 41, 2797 Highway 76, Chatsworth, was charged Monday by the Eton Police Department with possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and open container in vehicle.

• Daniel Roy McGaha, 31, 2015 Duncan Road, Young Harris, was charged Monday by the Georgia Department of Natural Resources with possession of meth and possession of bald eagle feathers.
