Area arrests

• Tanner West Brackett, 17, 61 Kinser Drive, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Chatsworth Police Department with felony possession of marijuana.

• Johnny Lee Cantrell, 45, 1122 Witherow Bridge Road, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with burglary, felony theft by taking and felony probation violation.

• Antonio Lavernes Hayden Jr., 27, 1400 E. 49th St., Chattanooga, was charged Wednesday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with felony theft by taking.

• Chris Allan Langston, 50, 1345 New Hope Road, Chatsworth, was charged Wednesday by the Murray County Sheriff’s Office with felony probation violation, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and driving while license suspended or revoked.

• Austin Gage Nuyen, 17, 436 Poteet Way, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Dalton Police Department with aggravated assault, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct.

• David Wayne Pruitt, 37, Cleveland, Ga., was charged Wednesday by the Varnell Police Department with too fast for conditions, aggravated stalking, fleeing, terroristic threats and acts, criminal trespass, reckless driving and cruelty to a child.

• Krystal Michelle Spainhour, 37, 234 Tanglewood Drive, Dalton, was charged Wednesday by the Georgia State Patrol with DUI-drugs and failure to maintain lane.

• Ramzi Al Hijazi, 43, 1802 Brookland Drive, Dalton, was charged Thursday by the Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office with DUI, failure to maintain lane and expired driver’s license.
