Ridgeleigh Circle house fire cause ruled arson, reward available

At 3:13 a.m. Monday, the Dalton Fire Department responded to a house fire at 1120 Ridgeleigh Circle. Crews found heavy fire showing from the rear of the house. The fire was under control around 3:50 a.m. Dalton Fire Department began the investigation and determined the cause of the fire to be incendiary/arson.

The Dalton Fire Department is asking for anyone with information to come forward. Anyone with information can contact the Dalton Fire Department at (706) 278-7363; Dalton Police Department at (706) 278-9085; or the Georgia Arson Control Hotline at (800) 282-5804. For information leading to the arrest and conviction of person(s) responsible for arson individuals may receive a reward of up to $10,000 offered by the Georgia Arson Control Hotline.
